Is there a way to check the mesh quality, including skewness, non-orthogonality and negative volume?

You can only check the number of meshes and minimum/maximum volume in the mesh-info menu.

It seems more information should be displayed. We'll review this for the next version.

You can currently check this in Expert Mode. Run Help-About from the menu, enter 'ilovebaram' to activate Expert Mode, and a Terminal option will appear under External Tools. Launching this and executing the checkMesh command in the terminal that appears will show detailed information. manual page link
