1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

‘Nextfoam’ (www.nextfoam.co.kr) processes personal information for the following purposes and does not use it for any other purposes:

  • To confirm customer registration intent, identify and authenticate users for service provision, maintain and manage membership status, process payments for goods or services, and deliver goods or services.

2. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

  1. ‘Nextfoam’ processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection or as required by applicable laws.
  2. Specific retention and use periods are as follows:
    • Customer registration and management: Until termination of the service use agreement or membership cancellation.

3. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

  1. ‘Nextfoam’ outsources personal information processing tasks as follows to ensure smooth operations.
  2. When entering into outsourcing contracts, ‘Nextfoam’ specifies matters such as prohibition of processing personal information for purposes other than the performance of the outsourced tasks, technical and administrative safeguards, restrictions on re-outsourcing, supervision of the subcontractor, and liability for damages, in accordance with Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  3. If there are any changes to the outsourced tasks or subcontractors, such changes will be disclosed promptly through this privacy policy.

4. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them

As data subjects, users may exercise the following rights at any time with respect to ‘Nextfoam’ (www.nextfoam.co.kr):

  2. Request correction of errors
  3. Request deletion
  4. Request suspension of processing

5. Items of Personal Information Processed

‘Nextfoam’ processes the following personal information items:

  • Required: Login ID, Name, Email
  • Optional: Password question and answer, Password, Mobile phone number, Company name, Company phone number, Department

6. Destruction of Personal Information

‘Nextfoam’ will promptly destroy personal information once the purpose of processing is achieved. The procedures, deadlines, and methods are as follows:

  • Destruction Procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database (or stored in a separate document for paper records) after the purpose is achieved and is stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed. Personal information transferred to the database will not be used for any other purpose unless required by law.
  • Destruction Deadline: Personal information will be destroyed within 5 days from the end of the retention period or within 5 days from the date it is deemed no longer necessary due to the achievement of the processing purpose, service discontinuation, or business closure.

7. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, ‘Nextfoam’ takes the following technical, administrative, and physical measures to ensure the security of personal information:

  1. Minimization and training of personnel handling personal information
  2. Encryption of personal information: Passwords are stored and managed in encrypted form, and important data is encrypted or protected using file locking functions.
  3. Access restriction to personal information: Access rights to the database system are granted, changed, and revoked as needed, and unauthorized access from outside is controlled using intrusion prevention systems.
  4. Use of locking devices for document security: Documents and auxiliary storage media containing personal information are stored in secure locations with locking devices.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or modifications in accordance with laws or internal policies will be notified at least 7 days prior to the effective date through announcements.
